This private German company is a specialist manufacturer of microphones and headphones for both consumers and professional musicians. Founded in 1945, just weeks after the Second World War, Sennheiser has since been transformed. The company began producing modern wireless microphones in 1982 and Sennheiser UK was formed in 1990. Sennheiser produce a wide range of high quality microphones for live, broadcast and studio recording use including the Lavalier microphone, handheld, headmikes, classic microphones and condenser microphones.
