Samson S Mix 5 Channel Mini Mixe

The S-MIX is part of Samson?s S-MINI series, a range of compact and affordable outboard audio equipment ideal for live or studio use. The S-MIX is a 5 channel mixer/pre-amp perfect for gigging or recording situations where only a few inputs are required. This unit is easy to use and very compact, so there?s no need to carry around a large mixing desk packed with loads of features you don?t need for any longer. Its sturdy metal construction means it will also stand up to any abuse a gigging musician can give it.

XLR Input Mixin

Unlike most mini mixers that only offer jack inputs, the S-MIX has a XLR input. This means you can plug a microphone or DI box in whilst still keeping a balanced signal, no need to worry about signal degradation. This unit may be small and simple, but that makes it no less professional.

Versatile Input & Output

As well as the balanced XLR, the S-Amp also offers stereo ¼? jack in and a stereo RCA phono input. Technically it?s a 5 channel mixer, but more accurately its three channels (one mono and two stereo inputs). An example of how this unit would be used would be in the case of a solo performer; the S-MIX would allow the artist to plug a microphone, a stereo input from a guitar effects processor and a stereo input from a backing track (CD player or iPod). On the flipside the S-MIX offers a ¼? stereo jack or a stereo ¼? RCA phono as outputs, allowing easy integration with most studio or PA equipment.
