Essentially the TH100 is a 100 watt all-valve guitar amplifier head, however it can be switched between 4 different modes that can expand or restrict its output volume ...
It provides the choice of two channels - clean or dirty, - the clean channel has volume, bass and treble controls whilst the dirty channel provides volume, shape and gain controls. On the front of the amp is a switch labelled "Half/Full Power" whilst at the back the user has the choice of using either 2 or 4 power valves and it is the various combinations of these two control parameters that enables various volume levels to be met.
By careful configuration of the parameters the TH100 can be set to 35,50, 70 or 100 watts output and is therefore equally at home in a rehearsal hall, studio or live environment. The TH100 also has an FX Loop for the addition of external processing and uses 4 x ECC83/12AX7 valves for the Pre-amp, 4 x EL34 valves for the output circuit and 1 x ECC81/12AT7 for the FX Loop ...
