Product Information

Nevada P-Bass Red Incl Gig-Bag & 3Mtr Guitar Jack Lead

This is a Nevada branded bass guitar created with novices and beginners in mind and bundled with a Gig-bag and a three metre jack lead. The bass itself bears a close resemblance to the famous Fender model that begins with the letter P (you can see them on  this website).

The body is made from Basswood and has a Maple neck with a Rosewood fret board with dot inlay fret markers, the body of the guitar is finished in Red and is contrasted by a white plastic scratch plate. The P-style single coil bass pick-up is controlled by a single tone and volume control whilst the bridge, control knobs and shamrock type machine heads are all finished in chrome.

The Gig-Bag is the Rockbag basic model  and the jack cable is made by Rocktronics (these may be substituted for other similar brands depending on availability). Nevada can also supply bass strings, Bass Combo amps, electronic bass tuners and a host of other accessories ...

It has admirable quality and plays well, furthermore it holds accurate tuning and whilst it's never going to sound like the Stradivarius of the bass world the sound is adequately decent ...

Beginners could do a lot worse than choosing this instrument - however a word of advice for parents girlfriends and wives. When purchasing a practice amplifier try to ensure that the amp has a headphone input so that at least some of the relentless thump only takes place via headphones ...
