Product Information
Marshall YJM100 Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Valve Amplifier Head - 100 Watts

Yngwie Malmsteen - the Swedish shredder, is known not only for his flamboyant neo classical playing style, the speed of his playing or even his pick kicking stage antics, but also for his much publicised love of Marshall Amplifiers.

It therefore comes as no surprise that there has been a collaboration between Marshall and Yngwie Malmsteen resulting in Malmsteen's own Signature Amplifier head. The Marshall YJM 100 Yngwie Signature Head takes the awe inspiring oversized cabinetry of the historical Marshall Major amplifier, adding the exacting features Yngwie needs to the rear panel of the amplifier and adding a twist of new technology, Marshall have created the most ultimate Plexi based signature amplifier to date ...

Although this amplifier has been designed to portray classic Marshall aesthetics it is filled with a blend of old and new technologies to ensure that guitar players get the best of both worlds. The choice of ECC83 and EL34 valves ensure that you'll still get that classic Marshall tone, however the amp has two power settings - 100 watts and 50 watts - very handy for modifying the volume depending on the size of the venue that you're playing.

There's also a neat feature called an Attenuator which can bring the amplifiers volume down to a mere whisper so you can play into the small hours of the night without waking up your neighborhood. The Attenuator is also useful for studio recording when you still want that great Marshall "balls to the wall" punch but not at a volume that makes the recording engineer's ears bleed.

Other useful features include a range of effects that are foot-switchable and have the ability to be by-passed such as a Booster, a Noise gate, Reverb and a switch-able Effects-Loop. And best of all, to ensure that your Marshall YJM100 is running at optimum sound/tone capacity Marshall have fitted this head with an Automatic Self-Bias system which continuously adjust and configures the valves to guarantee the best possible sound at all times ...

So do yourself a favour and check out the Marshall YJM-100 on your next visit to the Nevada Music Warehouse ...
