The Marshall JVM410C is a 100 watt 2 x 12? EL34 powered all-valve combo. It has four distinct channels and each of those have three different modes giving you a choice of 12 sounds to play with. It has studio quality digital reverb and two switchable master volumes. There are 28 front panel knobs, 7 switches, midi, 2 fx loops and 5 speaker outputs. The Marshall JVM410C combo uses 2 different types of speaker. A Celestion vintage and a Celestion heritage which is a best of both worlds vintage flavour with modern low end thump.
Studio Standard Combo Set
The Marshall JVM410C combo oozes top notch tones. Dial in a JTM 45 or Plexi, a JCM 800, JCM900, DSL or TSL there all in there amongst the 12 different modes, for example the clean channel is tone circuit then gain, the rest are standard gain then tone circuit offering wonderful sonic possibilities. If you?re after fat crunch it?s there, if you?re after high gain its there; you can set this amp up so many ways.
Intelligent Amp Programming
Each of the four channels on the Marshall JVM410C guitar combo has its own EQ, reverb setting and three different gain modes. The six-way footswitch can be programmed to store any front panel set up combination and is seamless and quiet. Clever logic control means the footswitch is connected to the head by a regular guitar lead. Twin master volume controls offer easy volume boosts, presence emphasises the high frequencies and the resonance control how tight the power amp controls the speakers. Another cool feature is you can use the emulated line out when the amp is on standby - ideal for silent recording. Reviews
The young, handsome looking cool dudes that are employed by Nevada Music are telling me that this is the ultimate Marshall combo. They claim that the new JVM series is "just awesome" and that everything you dreamed of from a Marshall is now a reality. Being a cynical old git I of course wouldn't beleive them without trying it out first...
True, the Marshall JVM410C does have a huge range of options and includes the most important aspect of the Marshall brand - world class distortion with sonic and harmonic qualities. This allows you to still hear the musicality within a complex chord sequence through the distortion without it turning into a fuzzy mush ...
The four channels provide increasing amounts of gain and distortion from completely clean through to saturated overdrive whilst the dual Master Volumes help to balance the tone, gain and distortion levels to help you achieve the sound you desire.
There's also a very nice reverb thrown-in with the JVM410C combo along with a footpedal that will allow you to change sounds mid-song and dial up some of your stored settings in the blink of an eye. I guess the bottom line here is that Marshall have created a 100 watt combo but with enough tonal and overdrive options to offer a wealth of different sounds and types of distortion to please a wide cross section of guitar players and musical genres. If like me you'd be interested to try this beatie then the Marshall JVM410C guitar Combo Amp is available at the Nevada Music Warehouse ...
