Ibanez JS1200CA Satriani Signature Electric in Candy Apple
The words from Ibanez say all there is to say about the magical Joe Satriani
"The Magician's power is transformation through the use of will and sheer talent. This is a dangerous gift and the high-wire acts he performs often seem like dark magic. With its clean, body-fitting design, the Joe Satriani Signature JS a deceptively simple yet potent divining rod, able to raise impossible flurries of notes and melodies from the fertile pastures of your rock guitar dreams. Reviews
The light weight Basswood body with its “sucked sweet” shape comfortably nestles into the body, all part of the formula which combined with the minimal control layout leaves you free to get on with the job. As you’d expect, tuning stability is rock solid no matter how much abuse is applied.
An important part of Joe’s repertoire requires chiming clean sounds and his signature DiMarzio pickups deliver these in spades. We get great note separation and string balance, essential when playing chords with Satch type finger spreads. This quality continues as you apply varying degrees of distortion. The sound is tight, even with oodles of overdrive you always feel in control. Joe’s fans are going to love this guitar and many of course will buy it. If however you are in the market for a top of the line twin Humbucker equipped guitar but are not a Satch fan, you’d be missing a trick if you didn’t put this guitar on your “to try” list....
