Genz Benz XB3 GB810T-XB3 8x10" Bass Extension Cabinet
The Genz Benz XB3 series is designed around more traditional cabinet principals, delivering the tone and feel that has been the baseline of bass enclosures for many years. The tight orientation of the speaker components on the baffle board is calculated to produce focused and tight low frequency punch, wide midrange girth and clear projection, along with a smooth top end.
The XB3 series includes a newly calculated shelf-porting system and slimmer cabinet designs for a more sleek and responsive enclosure. All models utilize a custom designed crossover providing Speakon and 1/4" inputs along with a fully variable tweeter level control for ultimate flexibility.
The largest cabinet in the series, this 1200 watt 8 x 10” and tweeter cabinet can rule the rhythm section in any large venue or high output stage. This cabinet is a great combination with Genz Benz's GBE-1200 bass amplifier. All drivers are coupled into the same heavily braced air chamber, providing a solid platform for deep low-end roundness and midrange definition. Our larger compression tweeter is provided to add just enough top-end to this tower of 10” speakers. Tilt-back casters and rear skid-rails are provided for ease of transport. This is available as a 4 ohm cabinet only.
