Although still relatively unknown in the UK, Genz Benz are actually about to celebrate their 25th anniversary as amplifier manufacturers.In the US they are a credible brand and have some high profile endorsees and now Nevada have included them within their bass amplifier product range.
The first thing that strikes you about this combo is the compact footprint and that the entire unit of the amp plus the cabinet weighs in at only 14.55Kg - one of the lightest bass rigs I have ever seen. When you then also consider that the Shuttle 6.0 12T kicks out 375watts into 8 Ohms and a staggering 600 watts into 4 Ohms then you start to experience a lightbulb moment at the realisation that this rig can easily be carried in one hand and is loud enough to fill a stadium ...

The clever design of this combo masks the fact that essentially it is derived from a seperate head and cabinet, however on top of the 2 x 10 cabinet sits a 1.5U rack slot that the bass amp head slots into - immediately turning the configuration into a combo amp ... clever eh ... ?
