The DR880 is Boss’s top of the range drum machine. It can produce stunning original grooves with ease.
Sound & Groove Control
This machine features 440 of the latest drum sounds and also has 40 bass sounds. The 20 pads can control the velocity and tone to create subtle and realistic patterns. EZ compose makes it simple to combine patterns and the big backlit display displays information in an easily understood fashion.
Input & Output Drum Stereo
As well as master stereo outputs it features two individual outputs, ideal for assigning kick or snare to for mixing and processing externally. Midi and USB let the DR880 talk to keyboards and sequencers to keep everything in sync. Up to four footswitches can be connected controlling different functions and a digital output can connect straight into your digital recorder. You can even plug a guitar or bass into the DR880 and play along with the patterns and even apply one of the 50 guitar effects patches to your instrument.
