The body uses Basswood complimented by a bolt-on Mahogany neck, the 24 fret Ebony fret board uses pearloid dot markers apart from at the 12th fret where a motif design is used. The headstock is the immediately recognisable "Beast" design and utilises BC Rich die-cast machine heads.
There are two hum-bucking pick-ups which are BC Rich's own Active Hum-buckers and are each controlled by a volume control and single rotary tone control along with a 3 way toggle selector switch to select pick-up activation.The bridge and tailpiece have been configured with a Kahler X locking tremolo unit and like all other hardware on this instrument are finished in black.
