Product Information
BC Rich Eagle Archtop Electric Guitar - Antique Violin SatinBC Rich are renowned for creating very fine instruments that are arguably aimed at the rock and metal players, however that said the BC Rich Eagle Archtop model - shown here in Antique Violin Satin, is perhaps a nod in the direction of the more traditional guitar type ...
The body uses Mahogany with a deep arched top and likewise the neck is also Mahogany with a beautiful 24 fret Ebony fretboard that uses inlaid dots for fret orientation. B.C. Rich are known as one of the pioneers in the "Neck Through" type guitar construction and this method is utilised on many of their guitars, because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets.
Sound comes courtesy of two Rockfield Mafia high output humbuckers that are managed via 2 x volume and 1 x tone rotary knobs along with a 3-way toggle switch for pick-up selection. The use of a ceramic magnets provides the Rockfield Mafia humbuckers with extra power due to the increased magnetic field that they provide. This feature makes the Mafia pickups produce a hotter and thicker tone that's aggressive and full.
