The Alesis DM8 Pro Electronic Drum Kit is the ideal solution for the discerning drummer who wants all the playability of an acoustic kit with the added bonus of pristine audio quality drum samples, a small footprint kit and the simplicity of a quick set-up/break down.
It has a higher specification than its little sibling brother the DM8USB kit and deploys a larger 12 inchsnare along with bigger ride cymbal (16 inches) that uses 3 zone triggering and a dual trigger 14 inch Crash cymbal with choke capability.
The Alesis DM8 Pro offers 750 pristine quality high definition audio drum samples within the DM8 drum module and all drum samples use the Alesis Dynamic Articulation technology. The actual Real Head 8, 10 and 12 inch drum pads can be tension adjusted just like a real acoustic drum.
The kit comprises a 12" dual-zone Snare, 8", 10", and 12" Toms, and 8" Kick, which works with single and double pedals (sold separately). There's also 12"(hi-hat), 14", and 16" multi-zone cymbal pads with natural motion and a StageRack with four-post design, integrated cymbal booms, and wingbolt-adjustable clamps. The Stagerack also offers convertible boom/straight cymbal arms, mounted in the downtubes of the rack.
The Alesis DM8 Pro also provides a 3-track sequencer so that the user can record drum parts and then listen to the playback, aside from this there's an aux input to connect a music player or iPod plus a USB interface for easy connection to your PC or Mac...
