Alesis DM10X Electronic Drum Kit

After what seems like a long wait here we have the DM10X Electronic Drum kit from Alesis, and if we believe the hype surrounding this product then the DM10X is sure to be massively popular. The DM10X features large drum and cymbal pads and a brand new (X-format) Drum Rack. With features to rival electronic kits at almost twice the price the DM10X features a six drum and four cymbal layout that will feel perfectly natural to the drummer who is used to an acoustic kit.


It has a 12" snare along with 2 x 10" toms and 2 x 12" floor toms,a 12" hi-hat,16" 3 zoned ride cymbal and two 14" crash cymbals.The newly designed X Rack is an extremely rugged,solid, four post format that is chrome plated. Quik release clamps allow speedy set-up and dis-assembly but also allows for fast changing of the actual pad positions without the need for tools, whilst the snare has its own fully adjustable stand, so that you can locate it wherever you wish.


The Alesis DM10X also features the Alesis Real-head pads in both 10" and 12" formats - the dual-zoned real-head pad has a Mylar drum head and triple flanged counter-hoops for a dynamic drum experience. All snare and tom pads are dual zone and you can use a single or double kick drum pedal with the real-head kick drum pad. You can even add a second kick pad to customise your DM10X even further ...
