Rotosound have been producing acoustic, electric and bass guitar strings since the 1960s and one of their early endorsees were The Who and John Entwistle in particular who chose his own custom gauge set known as the Swing Bass 66 set. Based in Sevenoaks in Kent and with an office in North Hollywood California, Rotosound have now added nylon, banjo and ukulele strings to their portfolio along with strings for classical instruments such as cellos, violins and violas. They have an extensive endorsee list that includes artists such as Pink Floyd, M-People and The Lightning Seeds.
