The name Marshall has been associated with rock music for as long as I can remember and Marshall amps have powered the most influential guitar players from its early days. Jim Marshall, the original founder of the company produced the first amp, the JTM45 around 1962 and demand soon meant that he needed a bigger factory. Marshall is based at Bletchley and all the valve amps are still made there for the world market, the USA being the biggest market. Over the years, the products have evolved and grown and the latest offerings provide phenomenal sound and performance without losing the legendary Marshall sound. The company is still in the hands of its creator and remains a family business.
