Alesis produce a wide range of audio and musical instruments which have capitalised on its strength in digital, analogue and transducer technology. Established in 1980 they quickly made a name for themselves in the field of effects processors, synthesisers and drum machines. They started the trend for low cost multi-track recording with their ADAT system which opened up studio quality recording to the home market. Alesis continue to innovate and deliver revolutionary products, and have recently moved into the electronic drumkit market with the DM5-PRO drumkit.
