Product Information

Since the 1960's, New York based company Electro-Harmonix have been creating classic guitar effects pedals such as the iconic Big Muff fuzz, Small Stone chorus and the Holy Grail reverb.  Over the years, players such as Carlos Santana, Dave Gilmour, Kurt Cobain, Billy Corgan, John Frusciante and The Edge have relied on Electro Harmonix pedals to create their signature tones...and to this day, these timeless pedals can be heard on hundreds of recordings from all different genres of music.

The Electro Harmonix Big Bass Muff is essentially a Distortion/Fuzz/Sustainer pedal but voiced for the bass guitar. The pedal has 3 simple rotary controls that configure the sound of the pedal, these are Volume, Tone and Sustain and as such are pretty much self explanatory ...This XO-series sized box features a bass boost switch and was specifically designed to handle bass frequencies whilst it also features a "dry" output.

Electro harmonix have been around since the 1960's and many of their effects have a retro -element to them, the actual pedal itself is made from a sturdy aluminium chassis with a green front and black rotary control knobs. There is a large "stomp" activation controller in the centre and when the effect is in use a red LED is lit as a visual indication that the effect has been switched on - presumably for use on darkened stages. The Electro-Harmonix Big Bass Muff (Fnarr-Fnarr ...) can be run by a single 9v battery or alternatively there is an optional mains power supply unit ... Try this classic pedal now at the Nevada Music warehouse ...
