Squier Affinity P Bass Starter Pack in Black
The Squier bass pack is designed for all those budding bass players out there. Featuring everything that you need to just get going, buying everything as one pack works out a lot cheaper than everything separately so these are ideal for the beginner. Included in the pack are the bass guitar, Fender bass amplifier, strap, lead, tuition book with CD and a gig bag.
Affinity P Bass
The bass guitar featured in this pack is the Squier Affinity P Bass, with a rosewood neck and alder body. This bass has a one split-single coil pickup with volume and tone control, with 20 frets and all chrome hardware. Based on the world famous Fender P Bass, the Affinity is built to the same dimensions and scale.
Powerful Home Amplifier
The Rumble Bass amp has a 15 watt output through an 8? speaker, with added features such as headphone jack and CD in allowing you to plug headphones and a CD player into it, hearing both the bass and the CD through the headphones.

Reviews
The "P" bass or Precision bass to give it its correct term is in fact a rock icon, it has been played by the good and the great and is a well respected instrument and this is why it's a great bass guitar to learn on ... In it's time the Precision bass has been used to play rock, soul, country, punk and all stations in-between so if you're looking for a bass that will maximise your musical versatility then this is undoubtedly the right choice ...
Squier are the sister company to Fender - who first invented the Precision bass and are licensed to make exact yet affordable copies of the original Fender model. So what you're getting here is a really good bass, made by a credible manufacturer - in most cases the difference between Fender original models and Squier copies are the electronics and occasionally on the higher end models some of the raw materials. But, I'd argue that the Squier Affinity Bass Pack in Black shown here is a great beginners pack, it uses similar raw materials to the Fender model and the sound and play-ability is first class when considering the price point ...
The Rumble Bass Amp is perfectly adequate for bedroom rehearsal and the the CD input is a great addition as it allows you to play along and learn your favourite tracks. I found that the split-coil pick-up on the Squier Precision Bass had enough tonal variation to allow me to play a variety of styles and the fact that the neck has just 20 frets means that this bass will be suitably sized for older children and teenagers. However the only true way to see if this bass guitar lives up to your expectations is to pop-along to the Nevada Music Warehouse and try the Squier Affinity Precision Bass Pack ...
