The Peavey Zodiac basses have been a popular favourite with a whole range of bass players from widely different backgrounds and musical genres. Quite recently ex-Megadeth bassist David Ellefson used the Zodiac as the basis for his own signature model.
Peavey have now released the Zodiac Stage Pack starter kit for all would-be bass players looking to start learning the bass guitar and their bundled package contains everything required to start that process. It always amazes me how much kit Peavey are able to bundle together and then sell for a ridiculously reasonable price and yet still turn a profit. The only explanation must be that their products are manufactured in
However, don?t let that put you off this starter kit as everything is made to a remarkably high standard and it all looks and sounds brilliant ?! Ok, let?s start by listing everything that comes with this package, the list is as follows :-
-
Zodiac Bass Guitar Finished in Sunburst
-
Peavey Max 126 Bass Combo
-
Learn to play Bass DVD
-
Jack lead, Strap and Plectrums
-
Gig Bag
-
Electronic Digital Tuner
The bass has two single coil pick-ups whilst the Peavey Max 126 is small, portable 10 watt practice amp ? (parents note that it comes with a headphone input that mutes the speaker when plugged-in). There?s also the ?Learn how to play Bass? DVD which will be a great help for some novices along with a Digital Tuner to help you tune your bass. The Gig Bag is of course very handy for transporting your instrument and the cable, strap and plectrums are just what is needed once you arrive at the rehearsal.
