The Epiphone EB-0 SG STYLE 4-String Electric Bass Guitar, has a Mahogany Body and Neck, Cherry Finish. It is Small, affordable classic '60s SG style bass with big tone, ideal for the smaller player. The Epiphone EB-0 SG Style bass guitar has a short-scale and narrow neck making it very easy to play. Licenced by Gibson, Epiphone has brought back a classic bass guitar of the early '60s. The Epiphone EB-0 bass has a mahogany body and a bolt-on hard mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. The single Sidewinder humbucker pickup along with the solid mahogany body's natural character develops a rich tone.

The Epiphone EB-0 SG bass is short scale at just over 30 inches, this means it is the ideal instrument for older kids or teenagers to learn on and as this is the Epiphone copy of the original Gibson model it's also affordable as a beginner's bass guitar. The SG bass was originally launched by Gibson in the late 1960's after the success of the Gibson SG Electric Guitar ...

Some would argue that the use of a single pick-up may limit the tone of this bass but frankly with the extensive range of EQ, graphics and compressors on most decent bass amps these days, I'm afraid that statement isn't entirely accurate ... The Epiphone EB-0 has a slim tapered neck which is ideal for smaller hands and as far as I'm concerned the single pick-up just means that the sound options are far simpler ...

The trademark tone of the Epiphone EB-0 SG bass is low frequency and low mids but you can create some top end by playing this bass using a plectrum. Epiphone provide good quality copies of Gibson original instruments and there's no doubting that this bass is well made. As a starter instrument there's not much to criticise here so if you've decided you'd like to learn how to play the bass guitar without having to spend a king's ransom you should seriously check out the Epiphone EB-0 SG Bass guitar - see this instrument now at the Nevada Music Warehouse ...
