You won’t find anything unnecessary on this sorcerer of the dark lows, with one pick up (precision bass style), one volume and one tone control, meaning you can get straight down to rocking out with ease. Despite its lack of features, the Warlock sure packs a spellbinding tone under its black cloak.
To complement the blacker-than-black looks, the Warlock sports a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard which itself imparts a dark tone suited perfectly for all your rumbling riffage, and allows a full 2 octaves on all strings for those wild moments. Most of your tone comes from the basswood body which is light, and has a good, not-too-bright tone that cuts through your band, backed up with a warm foundation.

The Warlock is not for the faint-hearted, both in looks, sound and playability. It has a chunky neck meaning that you get a beefy sound but it’s not for small hands wishing to play fast runs certainly, but more for someone who wants to pound out a solid bass foundation.
