TC Electronic RS210

TC Electronic's concept behind the RS series cabs is about pushing not only the bass player forward, but pushing sound forward as well. With a unique and practical take on cab placement the RS210 is about maximizing sound and minimizing footprint. This, the RS212 and the RS410 can be placed either in the more traditional horizontal positioning, or to make use of dispersion, boundary loading and simple common sense, the 2 x 10 and/or the 2 x 12 can be stacked vertically, on their own or in pairs. In doing so, the cabs are allowed to maintain bottom end from being on the floor and yet still have pitch clarity from being close to the ear, and also allows dispersion of the sound horizontaly. All from a minimal amount of speakers and stage space. The 2 custom 10" Eminence speakers, with a combined 400 watts handling power at 8 ohms, also make use of the small space by placing a dual-concentric speaker (tweeter housed in the centre of the cone) as the top driver which also ensures optimal performance and again dispersion. The clever anti-skid, anti-scratch surface treatment means that feet can be done away with which further promotes flexible placement. Connections are made via Speakon sockets, and on the rear is a port to allow more bass frequencies to spread, and a HF (high frequency) control for precise tuning of the tweeters. Also available is a padded cover for the cabinet.
