Laney RB2 30w Bass Combo
The Laney RB2 bass amp is the 30 watt version within the Richter bass range. It's ideal for rehearsing, practice and small gigs and of course home practice and recording. New features include sturdy wooden cabinet with tough black carpet covering, metal corners, metal kick proof grill, chrome control knobs and a decent handle.
Flexible EQ & Compressor
The front panels start with two jack inputs, normal and high- high output active basses should go into the high input. There are six controls on the front panel. Gain control to adjust input gain before clipping.
The EQ has four controls, bass and treble as usual but the middle control has two controls. One allows you to select a frequency between 200 Hz and 2 kHz and the other controls the cut or boost at that frequency.
Finally master volume sets the overall playing level. The switchable compressor evens out playing volume making your sound punchier and prevents distortion with an LED green light showing you when it’s active.
DI and External speakers
The unit features a DI jack output to plug the post EQ sound into the PA, desk or other combo’s. The external speaker jack output means you can plug the amp into another 4 ohm or above speaker cabinet for more volume although this also disconnects the internal speaker. Ideal if there’s a bigger speaker to hand.

A medium volume practice combo at that very useful 30 watts but still remaining nice and compact. Solid sound and build quality and good connectivity. Excellent value and highly recommended.
