People often say that good things come in small packages ... Well that analogy could certainly apply to the Ashdown Tourbus 15 combo amp, this pint-sized powerhouse delivers 15 watts - however this is a LOUD 15 watts and to my ears sounds more like 25 watts .. The Tourbus 15 uses an 8 inch bass driver and also has volume , bass and treble controls and I guess for most musicians would be classed as a practice amplifier either for home use or for a small rehearsal venue ...
Size-wise this combo amp is reasonably compact, it has metal corner protectors and a chunky rubber carrying handle along with 4 rubber feet on the base of the chassis, there is a black woven speaker grille that bears the Ashdown engineering logo whilst all the controls are on the upper panel of the combo. Parents/Wives/Girlfriends will be pleased to know that there is a headphone socket for silent practice and there's also an MP3/iPod input so you can jam along with your favourite tracks ...
