Boss BR-600 Digital Multitrack Recorder
The New Boss BR-600 is a lightweight digital recorder - ideal for musicians on the move. This eight track recorder has six mono tracks and two in stereo. A built-in drum machine with pre-programmed rhythms means you can start recording straight away. Thanks to the straightforward key pad you can program your own drum parts in a matter of seconds and arrange a whole song in minutes.
Built-in Sound Effects
The BR-600 comes with built in multi-effects, the same as those found on the larger Boss BR studios. You can have the same great sound at just a fraction of the price. The effects range from reverbs to delays, as well as all of the other effects you would come to expect from a studio. One of the best features is the guitar Hi - Z input, specially designed for electric guitar and basses to plug straight into the desk. There is no more of the hassle required with bulky amps, so if its 4 in the morning and you just have to record that guitar part there’s nothing stopping you. The on-board Boss guitar effects range from Fender to Marshall Amplifiers which you can change and control as you wish.
Mobile Recording Device
Two quarter inch jack inputs are available for microphones, as well as an XLR two quarter inch jack lead to plug a microphone straight in. A built-in stereo microphone makes quickly recording band practise really easy. As the microphone is highly sensitive you can also use it to record vocals and acoustic instruments. This great device also has the excellent benefit of being able to run on batteries, which means you can use it anywhere you like. The BR600 comes with a padded carry case to protect against any accidents whilst you are on the go. Memory is stored on a 128 MB compact flash card, so if you want to enlarge your memory space you can do so with very little expense.
