Boss Micro BR Digital Multitrack
The Boss Micro BR is one of the smallest digital studios on the market. Measuring just 136.0mm x 81.0 mm x 21.4 mm (5-3/8" x3-3/16" x 7/8") it’s only slightly larger than an iPod.
You can literally fit this beauty into your pocket. Powered by 2 standard AA batteries or an optional AC adaptor, the Micro BR is capable of 4 track recording (record 1 track at a time, playback 4 simultaneous tracks plus 32 V-Tracks). Also included is an SD Card slot, onboard multi-effects, built-in rhythm patterns, a chromatic tuner, MP3 compatibility, USB, and much more.
No guitar case or gig bag should be without one as it’s perfect for the recording musician on the go! The Micro BR stores its data on a universally recognised SD card (128mb card included, but this can be upgraded) in the same way that digital cameras store data. This means there are no moving parts inside the Micro BR, hence less chance for things to go wrong and perfect for taking with you wherever you go!
The included 128MB card, can record approximately 65 minutes of audio with with one mono track selected, but larger cards are available from any good computer shop to increase the length of recording time.
Built in microphone, Drum Machine & Effects
The Micro BR’s high quality microphone allows you to record vocals and acoustic instruments on the go without the need for any other equipment. The built in drum machine contains almost 300 preset patterns and is therefore much more than just a glorified metronome!
A quality multi-effects processor is built into the MICRO BR for enhancing recordings and for creative experimentation. Amp modeling, compressor, delay, modulation, reverb... you’ll be amazed at what they’ve managed to cram into such a tiny unit!
MP3 Compatible
The Micro BR’s USB port allows you to transfer data including MP3’s. The Micro then allows you to change the tempo of your MP3 audio without changing pitch (great for phrase training). This time stretch facility can be used on MP3 or WAV file playback.
In addition, MICRO BR's Center Cancel feature can be applied to MP3/ WAV file playback, this minimises anything in the centre on the stereo spectrum (usually the vocal or lead-guitar track) on pre-recorded songs for play-along/karaoke style practice or performance.
