Peavey Pro 15 Speakers Pair
Another offering from Peavey from their Messenger Pro range, this time as the Pro 12 which utilises a single 12” Woofer and a 1” compression driver to capture the full range of the frequency spectrum (60Hz to 22 KHz). The speaker enclosure is trapezoidal and comes complete with an on board passive cross-over to route the correct frequencies through to the appropriate sound outlet.
This combination provides 200 watts RMS continuous with an 800 watt peak and the Pro 12 also includes an electronic high frequency limiter to protect the compression driver. The outside of the enclosure is covered by black industrial carpet contrasted by a silver grey steel speaker grill, at each side there is a “teardrop” type high impact plastic moulded carrying handle.
On the rear of the cabinet are two ¼” jack inputs along with a further two Neutrik Speakon connectors whilst the Pro 12’s come complete with the now familiar steel “Top Hat” speaker stand adaptor. However it should be stated that the actual speaker stands are not included with the Pro 12 speakers and will need to be purchased as an extra item. I would strongly recommend that the speaker stands are purchased as this facilitates raising their height at venues and therefore provides a greater throw and sound dispersion within the location.
