Peavey PV10 USB Mixer
The versatile PV10 USB audio mixer is of an extremely high specification with live, studio and multimedia applications. It has ten channels, six of which are mono inputs with low noise reference quality XLR inputs with insert points. Mono ¼“ jack sockets handle everything else. The two stereo channels each have jack and phono inputs and you can switch between them via the A/B button. This saves re-patching and allows you to leave four sources connected.
Input levels
Mono channels have a gain control to accommodate a wide range of input levels. An 80 Hz roll-off filter reduces the low end rumble and feedback from microphones on a hollow stage and the bass, middle and treble controls each have +/- 15dB of cut or boost. A pre-fade monitor control for stage or headphone monitoring and a post fade FX send adjusts the level of FX for each channel. Pan controls the left/right balance, the mute button, clip and signal LEDs give a visual indication of the signal for that channel. Smooth 60mm faders control channel volume and 48v phantom power is available through the XLR connections.
DSP Processor
The built in DSP processor offers 16 different types of reverb and delay, including doubling and vocal enhancement. A further control adjusts the main parameter (reverb length / delay time, etc) for each effect. The desk outputs on XLR and balanced ¼”jack sockets as well as a control room output, headphone socket and phono tape ins and outs.
The USB port on the rear allows two channel recording and playback of digital audio. The USB output is the stereo master mix and has a separate output record level control. It is compatible with Windows XP/ME/2000 and Mac OSX 10.0 and above. The mixer is powered from the provided IEC mains lead and a 19” rack mount kit option is available.
