Yamaha MM8 Synthesizer
In the wake of the successful MM6 "Mini Mo" synthesizer, Yamaha announces the new MM8 Music Synthesizer. Like the MM6, the MM8 features sounds from the popular Yamaha Motif Series, real-time control, contemporary grooves, seamless computer integration, and adds an 88-note Graded Hammer action Yamaha keyboard.
The MM8 has all the sounds and features of the MM6 in a full-8 octave package, it could be considered to be a serious players' synth for the stage or studio and will integrate easily into either environment.
The MM8 synthesizer not only features sounds from the Motif, but also its quick edit knobs and arpeggios for comprehensive real-time control of those sounds. Jamming over the built-in grooves in Performance Mode sparks creative ideas and is a great way to write songs.
The keyboard parts can then be recorded directly to the on board sequencer, or for even greater flexibility, the MM8 can connect to a computer via USB and be used as a central controller at the heart of a music production system - particularly as the Yamaha MM8 includes Cubase AI Music production software.
