Great For Beginners
When learning to play the keyboard it is advisable to get one with full size keys (the same key width as a standard piano). The NK-009 features 61 full size keys (5 Octaves) and is velocity sensitive. This basically means that the harder you press the keys, the louder the sound…allowing you to add expression and dynamics to your performance just like with a real piano. Other essential learning aids that this keyboard features include a metronome and a large backlit screen with notation display. This simply but effectively displays the relationship between the key being played and where that note would be on a musical stave…a great help for those starting out reading music.
