Ibanez EWC30 Electro Acoustic Padouk with Resonant Low Gloss
The Ibanez exotic wood series of electro acoustics is designed for the player looking for an electro-acoustic with an unusual yet attractive appearance combined with a high quality amplified acoustic sound. The EWC30 is crafted from Paduak wood that is extensively used on the front sides and rear with eye-catching wood grain and a deep, rich tan colour.
The Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fret board sport a beautiful inlaid decorative motif at the 12th fret but otherwise the neck is devoid of fret markers. The EWC30 also has a single Venetian cut-away, binding around the edge of the instrument body and an ornate Abalone Rosette encircling the sound-hole.
The Rosewood "Ramparts" bridge allows much easier action adjustments and incredibly strong saddle stability for higher string output and a more evenly balanced sound. The on-board B-Band® UST pick-up provides warm, resonant acoustic sound reproduction, made possible by the inclusion of the Ibanez SRTn Preamp.
