Ibanez TCM60-BBU Electro Acoustic Gloss Baby Blue -heart motif

The Ibanez TCM60 is a small body acoustic-electric guitar with a double cutaway which makes it ideal for the electric guitar player. This series of guitar was designed for female or younger players looking for warm acoustic tones on a smaller body with the option of amplification. Heart motif on scratchplate

Features

The TCM60 features a Mahogany body and sides and has a double cutaway for easy access to the upper frets, the bridge and fingerboard are made of Rosewood, the neck is also constructed from Mahogany with Pearl dot inlays. The pick-up is a Piezo Transducer with AEQ200M 2-band EQ. All this paired with a Spruce laminated top that provides a bright resonant sound. .

Although this guitar has an unusual and " in yer face ..." colour, as an instrument it does actually play rather well. The marketing blurb that accompanies this model suggests that it was created with the younger player or female player in mind - hence the smaller more intimate body style and the whacky range of colours ...

The sound of this instrument is perhaps not up to the standard of Takamine or Taylor electro-acoustic, but taking into consideration the cost it gives a good representation of itself .
