Squier Strat Affinity Electric Guitar Sunburst Left Hand

The Affinity Strat has an Alder body and Maple neck with a Rosewood Fret board housing 22 medium jumbo frets, it is easily recognisable from the late 1960's style oversized headstock. The sound source emanates from the classic 3 single coil pick-up configuration, managed by a single volume and two tone controls.

This left hand model presented here in a 2 Tone Sunburst Finish utilises the original vintage style twin-pivot tremolo bridge that has Satin Anodised saddles to give a softer look to the hardware. The pick-ups are selected via a 5 way blade type selector switch that sits adjacent to the tone and volume controls. All hardware is chrome plated and includes the bridge, machine heads and the jack input plate.

This one was put through its paces by a left handed colleague of mine who spent a few hours in the company of this Squier Affinity Stratocaster. Although by his own admission he's not an out and out Fender nutcase (unlike yours truly) he had to admit that this is indeed a fine instrument.

It was tried through a variety of amps including a Laney, Marshall and a Vox and on each occasion my colleague was able to find a particularly nice tone on both a clean and distorted setting.
