I'm afraid I keep bangin' on about Hagstrom guitars to the point where some of you must be bored with the accolades that I keep giving them ... but in my humble opinion these are excellent guitars. They have innovation with their Resonator Fret Board that uses composite wood that feels and plays like expensive Ebony, plus they have their own H-Expander truss Rod to keep the neck from warping or twisting ...

The guitars feature a high grade polyester finish which creates a much harder, smoother and denser coating while also producing much better sonic performance than polyurethane finishes used by other guitar companies. The pick-ups (to my ears at least) have the right amount of natural tone but react with great versatility when EQ'd and can play pretty much any genre ...

I should mention that I have not had my palms greased by Hagstrom or Nevada and am singing their praises because I justifyably beleive that they make great, affordable guitars. A Hagstrom model is definately on my shopping list and of the half dozen or so that I have tried I haven't put one down without being impressed ... Of course you don't have to believe this review ... but at least humour me by going to the Nevada Music Warehouse and trying them out before you dismiss my recommendations ...
