Ibanez RGR420 EX Electric Guitar in Red Arctic Frost
This instrument adorns one of the new paint designs released by Ibanez at the 2008 Winter NAMM show and is available in two distinctive colours - red and silver. This particular model shows the Red Arctic Frost finish on a black background whilst the actual construction of the guitar uses many of the specifications that are typical to the Ibanez range.
The body is crafted from Basswood with a 3 piece Wizzard neck that utilises Maple wood in its construction and has a Rosewood fret board with 24 Jumbo frets and Sharkfin orientation markers. The pick-ups are Ibanez V7 & V8 Hum-Buckers - one each at the bridge and neck position and are managed by a single tone and volume control and selected via a 3 way blade type switch.
The bridge features the Edge III locking tremolo floating bridge system and all hardware including the bridge, rotary controls and machine heads are in black.
