Cosmetically the guitar has also been atrificially aged so that visually it could be mistaken as an original Fender from that era - although Fender have stopped short of distressing the finish as they have done with the relic series. However once the neck and action were tweaked, this guitar played like a dream and had all the classic tones that we've come to love and associate with the Fender brand. The pick-ups had warmth within the mid-tone frequencies combined with crisp top end and plenty of the Fender sound characteristics that I like to call "twang" ...
