Epiphone Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar Natural
This guitar is indeed a rarity, over the years I cannot remember too many examples of a natural finish Les Paul. Well, the good people at Epiphone have decided to release a limited amount of this visually stunning Epiphone Les Paul Standard.
It is made using the usual list of high quality raw materials - Mahogany body and set neck with an arched Maple top that gives this instrument its unique decorative finish. The Classic Alnico pick-ups, tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece along with the die-cast machine heads have all been finished in gold to complete the elegant cosmetic look of this guitar.
There's the usual well dressed 22 fret Rosewood finger board with inlaid trapezoidal Pearloid inlays, a pair of volume and tone controls for each pick-up and at the shoulder of the instrument is the now standard 3 way toggle switch for selecting the pick-ups. As a contrast to the light Maple top the scratch plate, pick-up surrounds and selector switch surround are all manufactured in black plastic.
