Description

Here's another stunning effects unit from Zoom with an onboard expression pedal, the G1X uses Zoom's popular ZFX-3 chip to provide 32-bit architecture and a 96Khz sampling rate. It also allows 24 bit analogue to digital conversion and is the bassis for the 8 effects modules from which come 54 effects type.

Aside from the effects there's a choice of 21 amp model emulations ranging from classic oldies to the latest boutique amplifiers and there's also an acoustic simulator. As far as the effects range goes you have a massive range to choose from and there's 40 pre-sets to get you started, the 8 modules are :-

- COMPRESSION/EFX

- -DRIVE

- EQ

- ZNR/AMP MODELLING

- MODULATION (Chorus)

- DELAY

-REVERB

Along with the multitude of effects there's also an on-board drum machine with 40 pre-programmed rhythms, and as if that wasn't enough ZOOM have also included a chromatic tuner.

Zoom offer a value for money pedal in the G1X that delivers high quality effects in abundance with loads of well programmed pre-sets, all of which are completely adjustable to suit your own personal preference and with plenty of user presets for you to create and then save your favourite sounds.

The drum machine has some fine sounding PCM samples and you'll undoubtedly enjoy playing along to the pre-set rhythms, the chromatic tuner is also a very handy addition and will serve you well during those sweaty on stage sessions where the strings are stretching and slipping out of tune ..

This is a great starting point for those who are new to effects pedals and Zoom have really packed in some great features for a very reasonable price .. massive thumbs up to this product, great sounds and fantastic value ..
