Sponge Bob Junior Guitar Outfit
Yet another US import to our nations shores is the legend that is ... SpongeBob. Millions of kids world wide can be heard annoyingly muttering his infernal theme tune that starts " ... Who lives in a pineapple under the sea ...?" In the days of my youth most cartoon characters were animals or young teenagers ala Scooby Doo ... still, what does an old git like me know about a Cartoon character devised as a Sponge that wears trousers that are unexplainably square ... ?????
Anyway, enough of this and on to the SpongeBob Junior Guitar Outfit, which in truth is more of a marketing product than an actual serious musical instrument. This is a beginners guitar pack dressed up with a guitar that has numerous SpongeBob images on and likewise on all the accessories that accompany this pack.
Within the pack is the guitar itself - loosely based on a nylon strung classical acoustic model but in garish SpongeBob yellow and 3/4 size, it is accompanied by a Gig Bag, Strap, Spare strings, pitch pipes for tuning and a plectrum. Don't expect premium quality from this package as the whole lot retails for around £30.00 ... For smaller kids there's also a SpongeBob ukulele that retails for around £20.00 ...
