Bass drum pedals are available in either single or double pedal options. Most are chain driven and come in a variety of designs and prices. Typically, electronic bass drums respond better to a plastic beater head. Many of the pedals at Nevada Music feature a dual sided head, giving you the option of either a plastic or felt beater.
As a rule, you will find that the more you pay for a drum pedal, the sturdier and more responsive it will be. Higher priced electronic bass pedals will usually have a strong footplate, sturdy bass plate, high quality spring and a dual chain.
