Acoustic Drums

Acoustic drums are exactly what the name says - drums that produce a sound when hit. Drummers can start with a basic complete kit which will cost from around two hundred pounds, such as a Ridgewood or the Peavey PVi500 kit, to kits costing many hundreds such as Mapex or Tama.

Drums can also be purchased as single items so a player can build their ideal kit. A drumkit will consist of the bass drum, toms, snare and of course cymbals. Sizes vary and kits are available in fusion or rock size depending on personal preference.

Top Quality Drum Kits & Accessories

The range of drum kit accessories available is massive and as you get better you will find that you want better kit, sticks and skins.

As with any music, practice makes perfect so hours of practice will be necessary. This can present a problem due to the sound an acoustic kit makes. Therefore, we suggest that you use a set of sound deadening pads such as the soundoff ones which reduce the sound, but let you fully practice your skills.
