Many of the features have changed since the debut of the Pro M range a few years ago, however the most important feature is retained - the fabulous sound of the drums themselves.... The shells feature 7-ply, 6.1mm pure North American Maple which has now virtually become a much sought after industry standard for top of the line drums. The Pro M series provides the best of both worlds - pure Maple shells but at reasonable and affordable prices.
The snare and toms are equipped with 2.3 mm rigid steel Mapex Power Hoops. Pro-M kits also feature exclusive off the shell, I.T.S. isolation tom mounting systems, floating floor tom legs and un-drilled bass drums with I.T.S. mounted tom holders. All of which ensures that Mapex provide high quality, rugged and resonant drum kits that are within the budget of almost all musicians ...
