Tama ImperialStar Drumkit Fusion Size
The Imperialstar is the most affordable option in Tama’s range of drum kits, yet it still retains many of the features of a more expensive kit. This 5 piece kit comprises of a 22” Bass drum, 10”, 12” & 14” (suspended) toms and a 14” snare drum. The powerful sounding snare is made from high quality steel finished in a cool looking black nickel plating whilst the other drum shells are made from 100% 6-ply/7.5mm Poplar. Each drum is fitted with good quality, durable Tama drum heads. The shells are finished with an attractive vinyl wrap, which unlike many other drum kits in this price range, is 100% glued to the shell, improving resonance and eliminate warping. The Imperialstar features an Omni-ball style tom holder, very similar to the ones found on the top end Tama kits. This allows the player to easily and securely adjust the Toms to any angle, depending on their playing needs. Other features have made the transition from the higher priced kits, such as newly designed bass drum spurs and lugs, both very similar in design to the ones found on Tama’s top-end Starclassic series.
Accu-Tone Bass Hoops
The Imperialstar’s Accu-Tune hoops use tension bolts instead of traditional clawhooks and T-rods, making head changes quicker and easier. Made from a special formulation hi-tech material, they offer lighter weight, greater strength and faster, more stable tuning than traditional metal hoops.
Hardware Included
This drum kit DOES NOT include cymbals but it does come complete with a full hardware pack. Tama’s Stagemaster hardware is high quality, sturdy and double braced. The hardware pack includes one convertible boom cymbal stand (HC33BW), one straight cymbal stand (HC32W), a hi-hat stand with swiveling foot plate (HH35W), a kick drum pedal with dual sided beater (HP30) and a single braced drum stool (HT25). Just add cymbals!
