Peavey Drum Kit PV500 Silver
The Peavey PV500 drum kit comes with everything you need to get started, right out of the box. There are many budget drum kits on the market but the PV500 is, considering the price, very high quality with features that are normally reserved for expensive pro kits. This 5 piece kit comes in standard ROCK sizes and featuring 12"x10" and 13"x11" toms, a 16"x16" floor tom, a 22"x14" bass drum and a 14”x6.5” metal snare drum. The Tom and Kick drum shells are made of 9-ply basewood, ensuring that they will stand the test of time before showing any signs of warping.
Double Braced Hardware
Unusual to a kit in this price range, the PV500 comes with a good quality hardware pack with each stand being double braced for added stability and endurance. The Hardware pack includes a snare stand, straight cymbal stand, hi-hat stand, drum throne (although this is only single braced) and kick drum pedal.
Heavy Duty Cymbals
Most budget drum kits come with cheap cymbals that usually sound more like dustbin lids and only last a short while before they crack and break. The PV 500 comes with much better quality cymbals (1x 18” Crash/Ride & a pair of 14” Hi-Hats) with sound bright and crisp and will endure a lot more punishment! Basically, this means that unlike other cymbals that come with kits in this price range, you won’t have to worry about upgrading them in a hurry!
