When customers purchase a drum kit, it's worth bearing in mind that cymbals will need to be added, as most kits do not include cymbals in the package. Nevada Music stocks a large range of cymbals, catering for most playing styles and budgets. There are two main types of cymbal :- Cast and Sheet cymbals.
Affordable & Durable Cymbals
Sheet cymbals are affordable and durable, and are often supplied as a cymbal pack. This makes them ideal for beginners, first time "up-graders" or for players on a tight budget. Nevada's most popular sheet cymbals include the budget Paiste 101 range, Sabian B8s/Pro Pack and Zildjian's ZBT/ZXT cymbals. The standard size configuration for cymbal packs consists of 14" Hi-hats, a 16" Crash and 20" Ride. Other cymbals can be added later as the individual becomes more proficient, and may include splash or china cymbals which are often referred to as FX packs.
High Quality Cast Cymbals
Due to a labour intensive manufacturing process and the use of higher quality alloys, cast cymbals are the next step up from sheet metal cymbals. Nevada supplies a range of cast cymbals from two of the world's leading manufacturers; Zildjian and Sabian. Whatever you're sonic requirements are from light and delicate to loud and trashy, Nevada can usually source the cymbal you need.
