Drumsticks with a difference!
Unlike conventional sticks that are made of wood, Ahead sticks feature a precision made alloy core. This guarantees weight and balance variations of less than 1%, compared to up to 20% that you may get with a wood stick. This unique design also offers added durability and strength, typically lasting 6 to 10 times longer than a conventional stick. The alloy core is covered by a replaceable super hard polyurethane shaft cover and hard wearing nylon tip. Ahead sticks also feature a vibration control system and an ergonomically tuned handle grip, reducing shock and vibration by 50% compared to a wood stick. This allows for maximum comfort, reducing hand fatigue allowing you to play for longer and minimising the risk of joint injuries and strains.

Tommy Lee
Although Tommy Lee is now more well known for a certain honeymoon video that found it’s way onto the internet, he originally found fame as the notorious wildman drummer of the band Motley Crue. Love him or hate him (most blokes, including myself, are just jealous of him) there’s no denying that Tommy is a true showman, a charismatic and exciting performer. He has joined forces with Ahead drumsticks to bring you the Tommy Lee Concert signature sticks. At 16 5/8" in length (an enviable length, even for the big man himself) with a .595" diameter featuring a short taper, these sticks are perfectly suited to his heavy rock playing style. These sticks have a silver shaft and their handles are finished in black featuring Tommy’s signature.
Tico Torres
You don’t get many bigger stadium rock acts than Bon Jovi. Tico Torres has been the backbone of one of the biggest bands of all time for over 20 years. He also managed to marry supermodel Eva Herzigova, which in many peoples opinion is by far his greatest achievement…he has definitely gone up in my estimation. These Tico Torres signature sticks from Ahead are 16 3/4" in length with a .595" diameter and feature a long taper, perfect for his stadium rock, supermodel pulling style. These sticks are finished in black featuring Tico’s signature.
Spug from Mudvayne
Spug played drums in popular American metal band Mudvayne. He has hooked up with Ahead drumsticks to bring you his signature model. At 15 11/16" in length with a .540" diameter and featuring a medium taper, these sticks are perfect for his powerful aggressive style. These sticks are finished in black, with a gold handle featuring Spug’s signature and Mudvayne logo.
Lars Ulrich
Lars Ulrich is one of the most famous and respected drummers in the rock and metal world, founding member of the mighty Metallica! Despite his diminutive stature, the little angry Danish guy is renowned for his hard hitting, aggressive playing style…pioneering the ‘Thrash Metal’ genre in the 1980’s before ascending to the stadium rock god status that he enjoys to this day. In conjunction with Ahead drumsticks, Lars brings you his signature sticks, but these are unlike most other drumsticks! At 16 1/4" in length with a .595" diameter featuring a long taper, these sticks offer bags of power.
