Zildjian Sticks - Matt Sorum Signature
Now lets this straight from the outset. Matt Sorum may now be the drummer of ‘Velvet Revolver’ but originally he was the drummer for ‘Guns n’ Roses’ when they were good. Although he didn’t play on their masterpiece ‘Appetite for Destruction’ (he replaced smackhead Steven Adler to record the follow up albums), he was behind the kit when they we at their most successful. But anyway, it seems Axl Rose went a little bit mental and bought the rights to the Guns’ n Roses name meaning that Matt couldn’t use it on his sticks, hence his current band, ‘Velvet Revolver’ being used instead. Developed with the insight of this powerhouse of a drummer, Zildjian have produced this signature drumstick. Made of select US hickory, this full sized stick (16 5/8” length, 0.6” diameter) is excellent for rock music. The unique, barrel shaped wood tip and oversized proportions are for excellent durability and sound projection The stick has a natural finish with Matt’s name and band logo printed on the handle in metallic red.
