USB & Gear Box Sound Input
The USB interface that is provided with the software is very powerful, extremely lightweight and well built. The tone port comes with dedicated guitar inputs, so you don’t need to mic up your amp as well as XLR inputs if you need to record anything else
Gear Box is the program that allows you to create any sound you want - it has every amp you could hope for, and it doesn’t take long to work out what’s what. There is also a large selection of effect boxes and you have the ability to select mic types and positions
Flexible Vocal Recording
The Gear Box software also offers vocal pre amps for recording vocals or anything that you may want to mic up, such as a drum kit or acoustic guitar. The software also includes some very famous bass amps. Gear box comes with Ableton live lite 4, which is a multi track recording packing, so you can record straight away, but gear box can be used with other computer-based programs or hardware-based recorders.
