Line 6 Toneport UX2
Line 6’s Toneport is a USB powered interface for PC/Mac systems featuring two XLR microphone inputs, two ¼” jack inputs for guitar/bass, stereo line inputs and stereo monitor inputs all allowing you to plug your gear into your computer and begin recording with the software provided. The UX2 also features a digital output S/PDIF via an RCA connector, stereo line outputs via ¼” jack, stereo ¼” headphone jack with independent volume control and footswitch jack which send midi commands to recording programs (start/stop etc). but its when you plug this little box of tricks in that the fun really starts, the Gearbox software provided put many toys at your finger tips which will help you to create that masterpiece you have been working on in your mind.
Gearbox
The gearbox software provided allows you to construct your tone around each lyric and note you have created using the many guitar and bass rigs provided. Now your home studio consists of 72 guitar amp models, 24 guitar cabinet models, 28 bass amp models, 22 bass cab models each with 4 dynamic mic options, plus over 90 stompbox and studio effects and 6 preamp mic models. All of these features are fully editable and allow you to really get into the nitty gritty of studio engineering without re-mortgaging your house.
